Marietta College Sports Fields

Institutional Construction
in Marietta, OH

In 2004, Marietta College began work on their new Sports Fields Complex. The existing football field was revamped with the installation of new synthetic field turf and drainage system, a new running track, and field event apparatuses. Also installed were a new competition soccer field and a NCAA collegiate-grade softball field, including reinforced concrete dugouts, drainage systems, and imported soil compositions to help with the grass playing surface development and durability. This project also featured new masonry entrances to the college, wrought-iron fencing, sidewalks, and utility relocation work. Grae-Con served as the General Contractor for this project. This project was completed in eight months.
