Fort Steuben Mall

Commercial Construction
in Steubenville, OH

Grae-Con Construction built two new major retail stores within the Fort Steuben Mall along with numerous renovations and retrofits. These two projects were completed consecutively beginning in April of 1999 and completing in July 2001. The new Sears store was built as a two-story addition onto the existing mall. Upon completion, the old Sears store was demolished and the new J.C. Penney store was constructed in its place. In addition to the two department stores, Grae-Con completed a stand alone Sears Tire & Auto Store, site work and retaining wall for the new Wal-Mart, and extensive renovations to the mall façade and commons area.
